Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
This domain was originally purchased with a view to marketing small MS Office based applications and bespoke programming services, but as a combination of time pressures and procrastination have resulted in none of my applications yet being ready to market I have found myself increasingly using the space to showcase my photographs and writing (though I'll still crack an Excel VBA password or provide a bespoke office solution for you). I have also added a free to download simple Multiplication maths game for children in years 2, 3 & 4.
My photographs and writing can be split into the following categories:
Old Britain: A photographic view of historical buildings and places of interest, with accompanying researched details. This area of my site is very much a work in progress and as of 10 March 2019 there are just 6 articles, though I have plenty of material with which to expand this subsite, when time allows.
Aerial photographs: Aerial photographs taken from various sites. I am a responsible drone operator and all CAA guidelines have been adhered to whilst creating these photographs.
Photos from Rides & Walks: A photographic chronicle of walks, bike rides and general days out that I have undertaken, often with some or all of my family, demonstrating the natural beauty of our countryside, towns and villages in contrast to the negativity so often seen on the internet. These chronicles will often contain a brief commentary of the outing and details and history of the buildings or natural features that we have observed. An example would be our bike ride in search of the source of the River Medway.
Football: As a 'groundhopper', this section includes stadium, fan and match photos from my visits to various football grounds at all levels of the game around the country.
Football Grounds: Most of these can be seen in the football section, but are purely photographs of the grounds, without the match action.
Miscellaneous photo sets: Where I will put any photosets that do not fit into any of the previous categories. this will include such delights as sports events, local development diaries, moon images, animals and maybe even some flowers!
Music photo sets: Photos taken from out in the crowd at live music events which will generally be small heavy metal shows, but sometimes larger shows.
Videos: Various videos: Live Music, Football, Aerial and Miscellaneous, which is split into several categories.
Crawley Town Football Club History: My CTFC History website, showing stats, history, old photographs etc. This is very much a work in progress.

Having spent almost 29 years working in the pensions industry, when Pensions Freedom came into force in 2015 I developed a little web tool to help the layman understand the tax implications of drawing on a pension fund and also to give an indication as to how long a fund could be expected to last based on different levels of investment return and withdrawal strategy. I primarily wrote this tool in order to teach myself JavaScript, but I have kept it updated as tax bands have changed and it should serve as useful information to anyone with a private or company pension who is approaching retirement.
