This was a match low in quality and had a preseason feel about it; both sides were fairly tidy in their own halves, but once they crossed halfway passes were misplaced, over hit or under hit and the few chances that were created were snatched at. Casuals took the lead right at the end of the first half when the home keeper failed to hold a rare shot on target and the rebound was nodded in. An equally uninspiring second half looked like petering out without any further score, but Cobham managed to snatch an equaliser in the 86th minute when Patrick Murray's free kick eluded the seven man wall and crept inside the far post. As the game headed towards added time a ball in from the right was glanced home by Marcos dos Santos to give the Casuals all three points.
